Nigerian Army was establish on 1863, when Lt Glover of the Royal Navy selected 18 indigenes from the Northern part of the country and organized them into a local force. The Militrary has many ranks either SSC or DSSC.

Requirements For Nigerian Army 2025 Recruitment
To be qualified for the current recruitment in Nigerian Army, you need to meet the following requirements:
- Educational Qualification: WAEC or NECO Certificate with at least 5 credits including English language and mathematics.
Applicants must be a Nigerian origin by birth

Additional to qualification: those applying as tradesmen women must also possess OND/Trade Tcst/City and Guild Certificate. Details are available on the http://recruitment.army.mil.ng/

Age limit: Candidate must be between the ages of 18 – 22 years for non-tradesmen women while tradesmen women must be between the ages of 18 – 26years by 1st June 2025.
