The University of Jos UNIJOS Plateau state after several senate meetings has come out with a revised Academic Calendar for 2022/2023 session. The UNIJOS Academic Calendar is provided below for New and Returning Students.
The school management acknowledged the effort in which the federal Government makes in ensuring that covid-19 pandemic guidelines are in place to allow the smooth running of our University as the Academic activities are to commence following the Academic calendar.

SECOND SEMESTER
- Monday, 3rd May, 2022 – Commencement of 2nd Semester Lectures
- Saturday, 24th July, 2022 – End of 2nd Semester Lectures/Revision
- Monday, 26th July, 2022 – Commencement of 2nd Semester Examinations
- Saturday,7th August, 2022 – End of 2nd Semester Examinations
- Monday,9th August, 2022 – Beginning of Teaching practice
- Saturday, 7th August–Friday, 27th August 2022 – Compilation and Submission of Results
- Friday, 27th Aug., 2022–Friday 8th Oct.,2022 – Academic Staff Annual Leave
- Friday, 8th October, 2022 – End of Teaching Practice
- Friday, 8th October,2 021 – End of Industrial Attachment
- Monday, 11th October,2022 – Faculty Board meets to consider 2nd Semester Examination Results
- Thursday 14th October, 2022 – Senate meets to consider and approve 2nd Semester Examination Results
- Monday 18th October, 2022 – Commencement of 2020/2022 Academic Session
