- You must have a bachelor’s degree with at least a second class honours or a postgraduate diploma with at least a credit level pass in the relevant discipline from UNN or other recognized universities.
- You must have a master’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 3.50 in the relevant discipline from UNN or other recognized universities for admission into the doctorate degree programme.

UNN postgraduate entrance exam
This is a computer based test (CBT) that all applicants for the UNN postgraduate programmes must take and pass before they can be considered for admission. The exam is designed to assess your aptitude and knowledge in your chosen field of study.
The UNN postgraduate entrance exam for the 2023/2024 academic session will take place on Thursday and Friday, 19th – 20th August 20231. The exam will be conducted online and you will need a computer with internet access and a webcam to participate. You will also need to register and pay for the exam on the UNN website.
The exam will consist of multiple choice questions that cover general knowledge, quantitative reasoning, verbal reasoning, and subject-specific questions. - Go to postgraduate students
- Select PG form for 2023/2024
- Enter your telephone number
- Fill in your basic details
- Generate Invoice with RRR
- Make payments using the online channel or at the bank
- Come back to online form

- Upload all necessary credentials in PDF
- Complete referee form (Enter correct Emails)
