Essential steps on BUK Post UTME screening form: All candidates that choose Bayero University, Kano ( BUK) during JAMB should visit the official website, pay the screening fees of ₦2,000.00 and complete the post UTME registration for 2025/2026 academic session for admission screening exercise.

All candidates with a minimum UTME score of 160 and above are eligible and can follow the procedures provided here on the BUK Post UTME screening to register at school portal www.buk.edu.ng. Those who scored below the cut off Mark in JAMB are not qualified to participate in the Bayero University, Kano PUTME exercise.

Bayero University, Kano Post UTME Screening form for 2025/2026 academic session out and the application deadline has been extended till Tuesday, 16th September, 2025. Those that made BUK their first choice of institution. Prospective students with awaiting O’level results should ensure that their results are available before applying for Post UTME Screening for BUK admission.

Candidates Eligible for BUK Post UTME Screening form

The eligibility criteria used by the management of Bayero University, Kano for post UTME Screening might include:

  • BUK JAMB Cut off Mark: All interested candidates must score at least 160 but some courses required a range from 180 to 220 in UTME.
  • O’Level Results: Those with a minimum of five 5 Credits including mathematics and English language in WAECNECO or NABTEB are qualified. Candidates with awaiting results are not eligible
  • Age limit: Prospective students of Bayero University, Kano must not be less than 16 of age.
  • Choice of institution: All candidates that choose Bayero University, Kano ( BUK) as their first choice are qualified but others can join by doing change of institution.

How to Apply for BUK Post UTME Screening

The following steps are crucial while trying to apply for Post UTME or DE Screening at BUK portal:

  1. Login to start application: Visit the BUK official website and click on 2025 UTME Online Screening Exercise. Input your UTME registration number as your username and your UTME aggregate score as your password.
  2. Update Profile: Fill in all required details in the form. The photograph uploaded during JAMB registration will serve as your official ID throughout your stay at the University.
  3. Generate Payment Invoice: Generate a Payment Invoice, which will include a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) for the payment of ₦2,000.00. You can pay online via Credit/Debit card or Internet banking, or you can print the invoice and pay at any commercial bank nationwide.
  4. Get A printout: Once payment is completed, print the acknowledgment slip.

Important Note

  • All Post UTME charges are paid via the BUK Post UTME portal unless stated otherwise online.
  • Candidates with awaiting O’level results are not eligible for the Post UTME Screening
  • Those exempted from the the aptitude test are the Blind and foreign candidates but must complete the online registration
  • All Information provided must be correct to avoid disqualification
  • Those that didn’t make BUK their first choice can apply and immediately make a change in the choice of institution.
