UMYU General Admission Requirements
In addition to departmental entry requirements, the Umar Musa Yar’ Adua University has the following general admission requirements:
1.UTME (100 Level):
- Five credit passes at SSCE (or its equivalent) in English Language, Mathematics including the core subjects subjects in not more than two sittings.
- Candidates must not be less than 16 years old.
- Candidates must have sat for JAMB and score up to the current required UMYU Cut off mark.
2.Direct Entry (DE):
- Candidates with a minimum of 6 points in IJMB/ HSC/GCE A level/NCE, in core subjects. Candidates with a minimum of Lower Credit pass in National Diploma in Law from any recognized College of Legal Studies in Nigeria may also be admitted. All candidates must satisfy the UTME requirements in addition to the O’ level general requirements are also eligible.
