The Breakdown of Bowen University, Iwo School fees
The General public and the undergraduate Students of Bowen University are hereby updated on the the school fees structure for fresh student and old students of the institution for the 2025/2026 academic session.
For 100 Level/Transfer/Direct Entry Students
70% payment of School fees is expected to be paid at the commencement of the session, while the balance of 30% is expected to be paid at the commencement of the second semester.
New Plan approved by Council:
- 50% at the commencement of the session
- 20% before the first-semester examination
- 20% at the commencement of the second-semester
- 10% before the second-semester examination
For 200-500 level students
50% payment of school fees is expected to be made at the commencement of the session, while the balance of 50% is expected to be made at the commencement of the second semester.
New Plan approved by Council:
- 40% at the commencement of the session
- 10% before the first-semester examination
- 30% at the commencement of the second-semester
- 20% before the second-semester examination
School Fees for 100 Level Students (New)
The School fees for Year one students Ranges from ₦ 615,900.00 (Religious Studies) to ₦5,074,600.00 (Medicine and Surgery (Pre-Clinical)).
Note: Other Fees of ₦170,000 per session is made up of
- BBSF – ₦8,000;
- Entrepreneurship & Soft Skills – ₦20,000;
- Internet Access & Portal Management – ₦60,000;
- Health Care – ₦32,000;
- Caution fee – ₦50,000.
BUPAF FEES: All new and returning students must pay ₦20,000 and ₦10,000, respectively, to the Bowen University Parents Association Forum in the first semester and present a receipt of the same for clearance
For Returning Students
200 Level
The School fees for Year two (2) students Ranges from ₦ 620,900.00 (Religious Studies) to ₦ 4,491,450.00 (Medicine and Surgery (Pre-Clinical))
300Level
The School fees for Year Three (3) students Ranges from ₦ 560,900.00 to ₦ 4,071,225.00
400 Level
The School fees for Year Four (4) students Ranges from ₦500,450.00 to ₦ 1,861,225.00 (Nursing and Nursing Science (Clinicals) and (Physiotheraphy (Clinicals)
500 Level
The School fees for Year Five (5) students Ranges from ₦732,710.00 (Agricultural Extension and Social Engineering) to ₦ 4,454,200.00 (Medicine and Surgery (Clinical)
600 Level
The School fees for Year Six (6) students is ₦ 4,213,200.00 (Medicine and Surgery (Clinical))
700 Level
The School fees for Year Seven (7) students is ₦ 3,190,200.00 (Medicine and Surgery (Clinical))
Note: Other Fees of ₦145,000 per session is made up of
- BBSF – ₦8,000;
- Entrepreneurship & Soft Skills – ₦20,000;
- Internet Access & Portal Management – ₦60,000;

BUPAF FEES: All returning students must pay ₦10,000 to the Bowen University Parents Association Forum in the first semester and present a receipt of the same for clearance.
JUPEB Fees
Total School Fees = ₦843,250.00
PAYMENT STRUCTURE
- Minimum of ₦550,000.00 payable before or on resumption of the first semester. (Inclusive of Acceptance Fee)
- Balance of ₦293,250.00 payable before or on resumption of the second semester.
Weekend Programme Fees
PAYMENT STRUCTURE
A minimum of ₦160,000.00 (inclusive of the Acceptance Fee) is payable before or on the resumption of the first semester by New Students, while Returning Students are to pay a minimum of ₦100,000.00 Balance of ₦100,000.00 and ₦80,000.00 payable by Science and Non-Science Students, respectively, before or on resumption of the second semester.
School Fees Payment for Foreign Students
Foreign Students living in Nigeria will pay a 10% increment in current school fees, while foreign students living outside Nigeria will pay a 15% increment in current school fees across all programmes.
