All Freshers and Returning Students of FUOYE now have the days mark out on the Academic Calendar for important events like Registration, matriculation, Lectures weeks, Test and Examinations.
The Federal University Oye Ekiti (FUOYE), Ekiti State, Nigeria has approved the academic calendar for the 2025/2026 session which will run from Monday, 22nd September 2025 till Saturday, 19th September 2026. That is a complete year programs.
FUOYE First Semester Academic Calendar
- Monday, 22nd September 2025: Resumption and online registration begins for all students. Lectures start same day for returning students.
- Monday, 29th September – Friday, 3rd October 2025: Fresh students resume and take part in orientation.
- Monday, 6th October 2025: Lectures begin for everyone.
- Monday, 6th – Friday, 10th October 2025: Late registration window.
- Friday, 10th October 2025: Last day for late school fees payment for returning students.
- Thursday, 13th November 2025: Matriculation for Oye campus.
- Friday, 14th November 2025: Matriculation for Ikole campus.
- Friday, 19th December 2025: Lectures end, followed by end-of-year break.
- Monday, 12th – Friday, 16th January 2026: Revision week.
- Monday, 19th January – Saturday, 7th February 2026: Examinations run for all students.
- Sunday, 8th – Sunday, 15th February 2026: Convocation ceremonies and Founder’s Day.
- Monday, 9th February – Saturday, 7th March 2026: First semester break.

- Thursday, 28th May 2026 (tentative): Id el Kabir.
- Friday, 5th June 2026: End of lectures.
- Monday, 8th – Thursday, 11th June 2026: Student Union Week.
- Friday, 12th June 2026: Democracy Day.
- Monday, 15th – Friday, 19th June 2026: Revision week.
- Monday, 22nd June – Saturday, 11th July 2026: Examinations.
- Monday, 13th July – Saturday, 19th September 2026: End-of-session break.:

Other thing you need to know
- Students will observe all Public holidays announced by the Federal Government.
- Students normally have Sporting activities very Fridays at 1 pm semester.
