Who can Apply for NSUK Post UTME/DE Screening?

Variation in NSUK Cut off mark

Some courses in Nasarawa State University Keffi requires a higher cut off mark for post-UTME and admission.

  • Candidates for Law and Community Health Sciences must have scored not less than 200 marks
  • Candidates for for Health Information Management, Nutrition and Dietetics, Environmental Health Science, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Electronics Engineering, and Computer Science requires a minimum of 180
  •  All other programmes need 170 and above.

For Direct Entry (DE) Applicants.

For Direct Entry Applicants, Candidates MUST:

1. Possess a minimum of Lower Credit in National Diploma (ND) and Nasarawa State University Diploma, Merit in Nigeria Certificate of Education, (NCE), Eight  Points in IJMB for Direct Entry,

2. Possess at least five (5) “0” level credit passes in relevant subjects including English and Mathematics at not more than two (2) sittings in WAEC, NECO, NABTEB and/or NBAIS.

3.Upload “0” Level Results on JAMB Profile at JAMB accredited CBT centres.

NOTE: Direct Entry candidates into Community Health, Environmental Health Science and Health Information Management MUST be licensed by their respective professional bodies

How to Apply for NSUK Post UTME

The following steps are crucial while trying to apply for Post UTME screening at NSUK portal:

Candidates are required to pay a processing fee of N2,000.00 (Two thousand Naira)

Visit the Nasarawa State University 2025 Post-UTME Screening Portal at www.ug.nsuk.edu.ng/application to Create an account/Profile. On creating Profile, fill the open forms as follows:

  1. Click application type and select 2025/2026 POST- UTME application
  2. Create an e-mail address and password
  3. Login with the e-mail and Password used in creating an account/profile
  4. Select payment for Screening through the available options
  5. Provide/input your scratch card for the result obtained (NECO/NABTEB/WAEC/NBAIS)
  6. Application completed.
  7. Screening in Progress
  8. Check back after 24 hours for result
  9. Print out the Application Summary/Payment Invoice

Screening Registration Deadline

All screening Registration begins on 28th July 2025 and ends on the 12th September, 2025. Try as much as possible to apply on time.

Final Note

  • Candidates MUST ensure that their POST-UTME Screening is successful; as only candidates whose Screening Slip is successful shall be considered for admission.
  • UTME and Direct Entry candidates should note that in addition to the above Post-UTME Registration, they are equally required to visit JAMB accredited CBT Centres to upload their “0” Level / “A’ Level results on their JAMB profile. Failure to do this, renders candidates ineligible for admission.
  • Candidates are advised to MONITOR their admission status on their JAMB portal. There would be a grace period of four (4) weeks within which all approved admissions MUST be.
  • Failure of a candidate to accept the admission where offered, shall call for the cancellation of such admission, and the candidate would be placed under the “refusal to accept category “and be rendered ineligible to be re-admitted
