The Nigerian Maritime University (NMU) has officially invited eligible candidates for it’s Post UTME and Direct Entry screening for 2025/2026 academic session. If you scored up to 160+and NMU was your most proffered institution in the just concluded 2025 UTME, visit the screening portal for registration.
The Nigeria Maritime University, a Paramilitary university in Okerenkoko, located in Gbaramatu, Delta State, Nigeria officially opened portal for it’s Post Post-UTME and DE application and all interested applicants are required to sumit their online application before 22nd August 2025. Eligible candidates should follow the procedures provided here to apply for NMU Post UTME and Direct Entry screening to register at the official portal. Those who scored below the cut off Mark in JAMB are not qualified to participate in the Nigerian Maritime University PUTME exercise.
Who can Apply for NMU Post UTME/DE Screening?
The eligibility criteria needed to be fulfilled by the management of Nigerian Maritime University for post UTME/DE Screening include:
- All interested candidates must score at least 160 and above in UTME before thinking of taking part of the screening.
- Applicants with a minimum of five 5 Credits including mathematics and English language in WAEC or NECO are qualified.
- Prospective students of Nigerian Maritime University must not be less than 16 of age.
- All candidates that choose Nigerian Maritime University ( NMU) as their first choice are qualified but others can join by visiting JAMB Portal to do change of institution.

How to Apply for NMU Post UTME
The following steps are crucial while trying to apply for Post UTME or DE Screening at NMU portal:
1. Visit the NMU Post-UTME Portal and quickly pay Screening fee of N2,000 (Two thousand Naira Only) online using your preferred payment option (Bank Branch or Online payment with ATM Card)
2. Proceed to Select the Admission Form to continue your registration immediately after payment.
3. Carefully Fill in Your Details ensuring all the required Information are correct and Upload details of your O’Level results (WAEC SSCE, NECO, NABTEB) if required
Submit and Print
4. Preview all details, submit your screening form and Print out the form for your records.
