O’ Level Subjects Combination and Requirements
The O’level subject combination and eligibility requirements from students intending to study Actuarial Science in Nigeria are as follows:
Candidates are required to possess a minimum of Five (5) credit passes including Mathematics and English Language and Economics plus any other two (2) relevant subjects in SSCE (WAEC, NECO or NABTEB) obtained in maximum of two sittings but some universities, depending on the courses might restrict it to only one sitting.
Actuarial Science Requirements for Direct Entry
The following are the conditions Direct Entry candidates must fulfill to gain admission to study Actuarial Science under the Faculty of Administration or related faculties in Nigeria:

(i) UNIJOS accepts
a) Passes at A’ level/IJMB or an approved equivalent examination in Accounting, Business Management or Economics.
b) Holders of the following qualifications may also be considered for admission into 200 level: ND lower credit in Accounting, Financial Studies, Business Administration, Banking and Finance, Insurance or any other business course, from any recognized Institutions (Polytechnic, Technical Institutions, e.t.c.).
(ii) LAGOS accepts very good passes in three (3) JUBEB/’A’ Level subjects: Mathematics and any two (2) of Financial Accounting, Geography, Government, Biology, Economics, Business Studies, Chemistry, Physics.
