The eligibility criteria used by the management of Ekiti State University for post UTME Screening might include:
- EKSU JAMB Cut off Mark: All interested candidates must score at least 140 but some some courses required a range from 180 to 250 in UTME before thinking of being part of the screening. Mass Communication: 180, Medical Laboratory Science: 220, Nursing: 220, Law: 240, Medicine (MBBS): 250
- O’Level Results: Those with a minimum of five 5 Credits including mathematics and English language in WAEC or NECO are qualified. Candidates with awaiting results are not eligible
- Age limit: Prospective students of Ekiti State University must not be less than 16 of age.
- Choice of institution: All candidates that choose Ekiti State University ( EKSU) as their first choice are qualified but others can join by doing change of institution.
For all EKSU Direct Entry (DE) Candidates
- All DE candidates Must have a minimum of credits with English language and Mathematics included in their O’ level results.
- Those for Engineering need at least a Upper Credit.
- Candidates for Other programmes must provide a tleast a Lower Credit.
- MBBS and Law require a minimum of Second Class Lower Division.
- Nursing Science candidates must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- NCE candidates need Credit Merit in relevant teaching subjects for Education programmes.

How to Apply for EKSU Post UTME
The following steps are crucial while trying to apply for Post UTME or DE Screening at EKSU portal:
1, Create and Account: Visit the EKSU Portal and Click on “ADMISSION” to access the online application portal tp

2. Sign up with your details: Provide an active email address and personal phone number there will be a email sent to you for verification.
3. Login to Your Dashboard: login with your password and details created during sign-up.
4. Start Application: Select “2025/2026 PUTME application”. and carefully Fill in Your Details. Information for candidates who chose EKSU pop up automatically. while Candidates who did not choose EKSU must fill in all their details correctly.
5. Make Payment: Click “PAY NOW” to make the payment online and Complete the Application Form Attach a 1×1 coloured passport photograph with a red background in JPEG format.
Upload details of your O’Level results obtained in no more than two sittings (WAEC SSCE, NECO, NABTEB).
Submit and Print
Submit Application: Preview all details, submit your screening form and Print out the form for your records.
Important Note
- All Post UTME charges are paid via the EKSU Post UTME portal unless stated otherwise online.
- Candidates with awaiting O’level results are not eligible for the Post UTME Screening
