YSU First Semester Academic Schedule
The first semester academic activities for the 2025/2026 Academic Session runs from Monday, 19 January 2026 to 13 June 2026.
Registration for new and returning students begins on Monday, 19 January 2026.
The registration exercise is scheduled for two weeks:
- Start date: 19 January 2026
- End date: 31 January 2026
The ETTC meeting and approval of the lectures timetable is scheduled for one day:
- Date: 4 February 2026
Late registration is scheduled for one week:
- Start date: 2 February 2026
- End date: 7 February 2026
Lectures are scheduled for 14 weeks:
- Start date: 2 February 2026
- End date: 9 May 2026
The add and drop registration window is scheduled for two weeks:
- Start date: 9 February 2026
- End date: 21 February 2026
Matriculation is scheduled for one day:
- Date: 19 February 2026
First semester examinations are scheduled for four weeks:
- Start date: 11 May 2026
- End date: 6 June 2026
The inter-semester break is scheduled for one week:
- Start date: 8 June 2026
- End date: 13 June 2026
YSU Second Semester Academic Activities
The second semester timetable cover activities from 10 June 2026 to 28 November 2026.
The ETTC meeting and approval of the timetable is scheduled for one day:
- Date: 10 June 2026
Second semester lectures are scheduled for 12 weeks:
- Start date: 15 June 2026
- End date: 5 September 2026
Second semester examinations are scheduled for four weeks:
- Start date: 7 September 2026
- End date: 3 October 2026
Marking is scheduled for three weeks:
- Start date: 5 October 2026
- End date: 24 October 2026
External examination/moderation and consideration of results at departmental, GST, college/faculty, and senate levels is scheduled for five weeks:
- Start date: 26 October 2026
- End date: 28 November 2026
Commencement of 2026/2027 Academic Session session
