The University of Delta (UNIDEL) shared the approved Academic and administrative timetable which provides all you need to achieve your goals and Objectives throughout the 2025/2026 study year. Students and staff are to strictly adhere to the schedule on the academic calendar.
UNIDEL Resumption Notice
The University of Delta scheduled resumption date for both new and retuning students 2025/2026 academic session is on Sunday 7th September, 2025.
Following the Senate approved and amended Calendar, the 2025/2026 First Semester Examination commences on Monday 9th February 2026 and ends 27th February 2026 University wide.
Faculty Examinations Officers are also requested to ensure strict adherence to the Examination Time Tables.
First Semester Academic Activities
The first semester activities schedule for both new and returning undergraduate students For 2025/2026 academic session is as follows from Monday, 20 October 2025 to Saturday, 7 March 2026.
- 19/08/2025 – Post UTME Examinations.
- 25/08/2025 – 26/09/2025 – Admission process for the 2025/2026 session.
- 07/09/2025 – Old and new students resume.
- 08/09/2025 – 30/09/2025 – Payment of acceptance fees, online and physical clearance, school charges, and registration.
- 15/09/2025 – 17/09/2025 – Orientation exercise for new students.
- 19/09/2025 – Matriculation ceremony.
- 22/09/2025 – Lectures begin (12 weeks).
- 19/11/2025 – 21/11/2025 – Maiden Convocation Ceremony.
- 19/12/2025 – Christmas break begins.
- 04/01/2026 – Students return to residence.
- 05/01/2026 – Students resume lectures.
Important Notice
Students that refused to pay their school fees are again reminded that without their complete registration they would not be allowed into the examination centres.
