How to Check UNIBEN Admission List
The School management of University of Benin ( UNIBEN) has made the Admission for 2025/2026 academic session available at the official UNIBEN website and JAMB CAPS. Learn the process of checking and accepting the admission offer by the university hereunder.
The University of Benin admission status can check Via the School or JAMB efacility portal.
At UNIBEN Portal
To Check Admission via the School website, adhere to the procedures hereunder:
- Visit the University Portal: Go to the admission status checking portal at www.uniben.edu.ng
- Input login data: Enter your Registration Number or Applicant Id and Lastname (Surname):
- Check Admission Status: Click on the Admission Status Bar to know if you have been admitted.
At JAMB CAPS
To check the Admission status through the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) visit the JAMB efacility portal using the steps below:
- Visit official JAMB Website: Go to JAMB Portal at https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/
- Input Login details: Fill in your JAMB profile username and password and proceed.
- Navigate Admission Status‘ tab: Locate and select your Exam year, fill your registration number as required and
- finally click to Check if you have been offered admission.
Successful candidates can proceed to Accept or Reject the admission by sending ACCEPT or REJECT as SMS to 55019 or 66019 through the Phone number linked to their JAMB profile.
Candidates have 4 weeks to accept the offer of admission. Those without their registered phone numbers are to visit a JAMB accredited centre to Accept or Reject.

If you have been offered admission, follow these steps:
- Visit JAMB CAPS to either ACCEPT or REJECT the admission offer.
- Ensure that your JAMB Admission Letter is printed out
- Start your Registration as soon as possible and get ready for and academic activities.
