This is to notify the general public that the University of Benin (UNIBEN) has officially released the Academic Calendar for the 2025/2026 academic session. Find out the schedule and key dates for the first and second semester academic activities on UNIBEN academic calendar.
From the UNIBEN Approved Academic calendar, the Commencement of Online Registration for newly admitted students for first semester 2025/2026 Academic Session is on Monday 10th November, 2025 and Lectures begin for all faculties on Monday 24th November, 2025 till Friday 6th March, 2026. The first Semester examination on Monday 16 March, 2026 to Saturday 4th April, 2026. Students and staff of University of Benin should follow the schedule on the academic calendar.
The second semester will resume on Sunday 19th April, 2026 with commencement of lectures on Monday 20th April, 2026. The Examinations for the Second Semester on Monday 10th August, 2026 till Saturday 29th August, 2026 and Senate Consider Results for graduating students.
