The Harmattan Semester begins in October with fresh students resuming first, followed by returning students while the Rain Semester starts toward the end of March, with all students resuming and lectures beginning shortly after. This semester covers course registration, lectures, mid-semester examinations, students’ week, and final examinations, which end in July. Post-examination activities include conference marking, SIWES/Teaching Practice, departmental and faculty board meetings, and the consideration of results by Senate.
