BUK Admission Requirements

The Entry Level requirements for Admission into Bayero University, Kano undergraduate courses are as follows:

In addition to the entry requirements specific to the individual Departments, the following are the general entry requirements for the first degree courses at the Bayero University, Kano.

  • Entry through the Unified Tertiary Examination (UTME): O’ level result with at least five (5) Credits including Mathematics and English language and the core subjects. Must also score up to required minimum UTME benchmark
  • Direct Entry Through JAMB: Applicants must have registered with JAMB for Direct Entry application and have gotten a JAMB registration number. In addition to the O ‘level result, must have a minimum of two A-Level passes or equivalent from approved institutions which can include results from IJMB, Cambridge A-Levels, or other recognized programs related to the chosen course of study.
