In addition to departmental entry requirements, the Lagos State University of Education has the following general undergraduate admission requirements:

• For admission to 100-Level through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), Candidates should:
• Obtained at least five (5) credit passes at Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or equivalent in relevant subjects including English Language in not more than two sittings;
• Score a minimum of points in UTME specified by the University to JAMB
• Pass the Post-UTME organized by the University
