In preparation for the admission of new students into the full time undergraduate programmes in Lagos State University (LASU), the management has decided to give a benchmark for interested candidates. The Cut off Mark for admission into various departments of LASU has been fixed to show show prospective students their eligibility status.
Those that sat for the last concluded Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and score up to the LASU Cut off Mark and above are qualified to register for the Post UTME Screening and will be considered for admission.

LASU JAMB Cut off Mark 2025
The Lagos State University cut off Mark for the 2024/2025 academic session fixed by the management is 195 and above. This indicates that all the prospective students that scored a minimum of 195 in their UTME are eligible for the admission screening.
The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board Cut off Mark for all Universities in Nigeria is 140. These benchmark given by JAMB is to ensure that they don’t admits below that to maintain the standard of education in the country.

Additional Requirements
Apart from the JAMB cut off Mark released my the Lagos State University, there are other eligibility criteria which might include:
- O’Level Results with a minimum of five (5) Credits including mathematics and English language
- Applicant’ age should not be less than 16 years of age at the moment of jamb registration.
- The candidates must made indicated LASU as their first choice or made a change of institutions to the University on time.
Finally, Lagos State University cut off Mark is determined to screen out eligible candidates for post UTME Screening and not a guarantee for admission. Those with higher JAMB scores stand a change of being prioritize for admission after fulfilling other criteria.
