The Academic calendar released by Imo State University (IMSU) management for the 2024/2025 session shows Friday, 8th November, 2024 as the resumption date for all students. All newly admitted students are expected to arrive at the school campus on this date

1. Friday, 8th, November 2024: Old students return to campus and secure accommodation.
2. Monday, 11th November 2024: Registration and lectures begin for old students.
3. Monday, 18th November 2024: Registration starts for new students.
4. Wednesday, 20th November 2024: Registration ends for new students.
5. Thursday, 21st November 2024: Lectures begin for new students.
6. Monday, 3rd March 2025: Revision begins.
7. Friday, 8th March 2025: Revision ends.
8. Monday, 10th March 2025: First Semester examinations commence for all students.
9. Friday, 28th March 2025: First Semester examinations conclude.

Second Semester

1.  Friday, 11th April 2025: Registration opens for all students.
2. Monday, 14th April 2025: Lectures begin.
3. Monday, 25th April 2025: Registration closes.
4.  Friday, 11th July 2025: Second Semester lectures end.
5. Monday, 14th July 2025: Revision begins.
6. Friday, 18th July 2025: Revision ends.
7. Monday, 21st July 2025: Second Semester examinations start.
8.  Friday, 22nd August 2025: Second Semester examinations end. Students vacate campus, marking the close of the 2024/2025 session.
