O’ Level Subjects Combination and UTME Requirements
The O’ level subject combination and eligibility requirements from students intending to study Classical Studies in Nigeria are as follows:
Candidates are required to possess a minimum of Five (5) credit passes in SSCE (NECO WASSCE or NABTEB) obtained in maximum of two sittings but some universities, depending on the courses might restrict it to only one sitting.
The Five (5) credit passes must include English Language, Literature in English or History, one (1) Arts or Social Science subject and any other subject.
For holders of NTC, the relevant subjects could be General Wood work, Building/Engineering Drawing, Introduction to Building Construction; Decorative Painting; SprayPainting, Lining, Sign and Design; Wall hanging, Colour Mixing/Matching and Glazing; Printing Origination; Machine Printing and Finishing; General Metal Work, Basic Electricity, Spinning, Weaving, Surface Design and Printing; Bleaching, Dyeing and Finishing; Graphic Design; Graphic Printing and Ceramics.
Classical Studies Requirements for Direct Entry (DE)
The following are the conditions Direct Entry (DE) candidates must fulfill to gain admission to study Classical Studies under the Faculty of Arts & Humanities or related faculties in Nigeria:
