General Requirements
- Candidates are required to have sat for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) with a minimum score as approved by JAMB
- Applicants must also obtain a minimum of five (5) credit passes at not more than two sittings in WAEC (SSCE)/ NECO (SSCE) or NABTEB. These should include English Language, Mathematics and any three other subjects relevant to the proposed course of study.
Direct Entry (DE) Screening Requirements
Those that which to gain admission into 200 or 300 level
- Two passes at A Level, IJMB, or JUPEB examinations.
- Holders of ND, NCE, or ATS results in relevant disciplines.
- A minimum of two A Level passes in Biology/Zoology and one of Chemistry or Physics for Bachelor of Nursing Science (B.NSc.) or the Registered Nursing Certificate (RN) of the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria, or a B.Sc. degree in any Biological Science;
- A minimum of two A Level passes in Biology/Zoology and one of Chemistry or Physics for Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (B.MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician Diploma of the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN), or a B.Sc. degree in any Biological Sciences.
- A minimum of two A Level passes, including Mathematics and Physics, or a National Diploma (Upper Credit) in Engineering for Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) programmes.
Direct Entry Candidates (300 Level)
- Holders of HND in their respective fields of study.
- Holders of professional certificates such as ACA, ACIB, ACIS, ACIN, and ACIT are eligible for admission into Accounting and Business Administration.
