To know the date of resumption of newly Admitted Students, lectures period, Registration, Orientation, Christmas and New year break, etc the Edo State University Academic Calendar provides the details till the 2026/2027 academic session. Students and staff are to follow the Schedule on the Edo State University timetable hereunder.

Edo State University First Semester Academic Activities

  • 11/10/2025 – Resumption of newly Admitted Students into Hall of Residences
  • 13/10/2025 – 24/10/2025 – Commencement of Screening and Registration for the newly Admitted Students
  • 23/10/2025 – 24/10/2025 – Orientation for newly admitted Students
  • 27/10/2025 – Commencement of Lectures for newly admitted Students
  • 1/11/2025 – Arrival of returning Students into Halls of Residence
  • 3/11/2025 – Commencement of First Semester Lectures for returning Students
  • 12/12/2025 – Late Course Registration will attract the sum of N15,000 penalty for returning students.

  • 5/1/2026 – 9/1/2026 – Continuation of Online Lectures
  • 07/02/2026 – 08/02/2026 – Students check into Halls of Residence
  • 09/2/2026 – Physical resumption of First Semester lectures for all students
  • 23/2/2026 – 26/2/2026 – Revision period/Continuous Assessment
  • 26/2/2026 – Matriculation for newly admitted Students
  • 26/2/2026 – End of First Semester lectures
  • 28/2/2026 – 3/3/2026 – GST/ENT Examinations
  • 4/3/2026 – 18/3/2026 – First Semester Examination in all Faculties
  • 18/3/2026 – End of First Semester Examination
  • 19/3/2026 – Students embark on First Semester break

  • 13/6/2026 – 17/6/2026 – One week of Revision/Continuous Assessment
  • 17/6/2026 – End of Second Semester Lectures
  • 29/6/2026 – GST/ENT Examinations
  • 6/7/2026 – Commencement of Second Semester examination in all Faculties
  • 24/7/2026 – Conclusion of Second Semester Examination
  • 25/7/2026 – Students embark on long vacation break for 2025/2026 academic session
  • 14/8/2026 – Departments and Faculties consider Sessional Results for 2025/2026 academic session
