UNICAL Academic Activities resumes from Friday, 26th September, 2025 and concluded on 26th February, 2026 for first semesters while the second semester starts on 18th March, 2026 and wrap up on 21st July, 2026. Explore more details on the Academic timetable below.

First Semester UNICAL Academic Calendar  2025/2026

The first semester begins with fresh arrivals and key campus events.

  • 24th September, 2025– Inaugural Lecture
  • 26th September, 2025 – New students arrive
  • 29th September, 2025 – Screening and registration for new students
  • 30th September, 2025 – Returning students arrive
  • 2nd  October, 2025 – Registration for returning students starts
  • 2nd October, 2025 – Lectures for all students begin
  • 6th October, 2025 – Solemn Assembly
  • 8th October, 2025– Inaugural Lecture
  • 22nd October, 2025– Inaugural Lecture
  • 27th to 31st October, 2025 – Supplementary Examination
  • 3rd to 7th November, 2025– Summer Examination
  • 5th November, 2025 – Inaugural Lecture
  • 10th November, 2025  – Late registration begins
  • 13th to 14th November, 2025 – Freshers’ Orientation
  • 17th November, 2025– Late registration ends

  • 23rd March, 2026– Registration begins for 500 Level (Stream B)
  • 23rd to 28th March, 2026– 38th Convocation Ceremony
  • 30th March, 2026– Lectures begin for all students
  • 8th April, 2026 – Inaugural Lecture
  • 22nd April, 2026 – Inaugural Lecture
  • 27th April, 2026– Late registration begins for 500 Level (Stream B)
  • 4th May, 2026 – Late registration ends for 500 Level (Stream B)
  • 6th May, 2026– Inaugural Lecture
  • 11th to 16th May, 2026 – Continuous Assessment
  • 20th May, 2026– Inaugural Lecture
  • 1st June, 2026– Add and drop courses close for 500 Level (Stream B)
  • 3rd June, 2026– Inaugural Lecture
  • 15th to 19th June, 2026– Revision week
