SSU General Admission Requirements
In addition to departmental entry requirements, the Sokoto State University has the following general admission requirements:
1.UTME (100 Level):
- Candidates are to possess O ‘ level result with a minimum of five (5) Credit including English Language and Mathematics obtained in not more than two (2) sittings
- Candidates must not be less than 16 years old.
- Candidates must have sat for JAMB and score up to the current required SSU Cut off mark.
2.Direct Entry (DE):
- Candidates to be eligible for Direct Entry Admission must possess NCE or equivalent in two relevant subjects at Credit or Merit level. In addition, must possess i) School Certificate/GCE, O’Level passes in at least five other subjects at credit level including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two sittings.
