MTU Admission Requirements

The Admission into Mountain Top University undergraduate courses has the following are the requirements:

  1.  Admission Requirement into Year 1 – candidates seeking admission to Year 1 should possess at least five (5) credits in SSCE/GCE/NECO including English Language, Mathematics, Physics and any two other relevant science subjects taken in not more than two (2) sittings.
  2.  Admission Requirement to Year 2 – Candidates seeking admission into Year II, should possess one of the following:
    1. GCE A’ level with at least credit in two subjects.
    2. Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Computer Science minimum grade of Lower Credit.
    3. The Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board (JUPEB) candidate with a least credit grade in two (2) relevant subjects.
    4. National Certificate in Education (NCE) with at least merit grade in two (2) relevant subjects
  3. iii. Admission Requirement to Year 3 – Candidates seeking admission to Year 3 should possess at least one of the following:
    1. Higher National Diploma (HND) in Computer Science with a minimum overall grade of Lower Credit
    2. Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of Pass in Computer Science obtained from a university recognized by Senate of Mountain Top University.
