Insight for you on UNICAL Resumption Date: The University of Calabar Announces the Commencement date for the resumption of academic activities for both New and returning students. From the official announcement, new students are expected to arrive on campus on Monday, September 29, 2025, with screening and registration commencing on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 while returning students are expected to arrive on campus on Thursday, October 2, 2025 and start registration the same day.
Lectures are scheduled to begin for all students on Monday, October 6, 2025 while late registration for all students will take place from Thursday, October 13th to Friday, October 14th and will end on Wednesday, October 19, 2025.
The notice also stated that supplementary examinations will be held from Monday, November 3rd to Friday, November 7, 2025, while summer examinations are scheduled for Wednesday, November 5, 2025.
If you still postponing your schedule, Try as much as possible to do all the necessary so as to come out excellent with you academic performance. Students are expected to resume on time, pay fees, register courses and submit the necessary files.

Preparing for the semester (First or Second) before and after the commencement of the academic year is very important. The following will aid your progress and academic performance:
- Update Your Biodata: Your Biodata may need update especially for a new academic session for retuning students while the new students may have to fill their Online Biodata form.
- Payment of School Fees: One of the important things to be done in University of Calabar immediately after resumption for a new semester is to pay school fees. New students may have to pay their acceptance fee first before the school fees.
- Registration of Courses: Students should take the online course registration very serious immediately after paying fees.
